This book falls under self-help or motivational category. Emoji or Emoticons have been used very frequently in this book at various places.

First, let me tell you about Emoticons, these have made it a light read book but I am not able to find any other usefulness of this usage in the text but it looks like a good idea to me and should be explored well in future.

Now let’s discuss about the book. In Shubham’s words:

“I don’t know whether this book will be flop/hit/super hit/blockbuster but, through this book I’m trying to change the thinking of people because, we have to move one step ahead in all formats than other countries every new year which will make INDIA an DEVELOPED country and let’s start this by CHANGING OUR THINKING”

In my view:

One can’t get disagree with points mentioned in the book; whatever is covered in this book is generally acceptable. It is like all moral things we have learnt since school or via whatsapp are there, if we really apply them, our India will change but is it that easy!

Shubham has compiled moral texts received on social channels like Whatsapp, Facebook etc in his own style and add his vision to it to make it in a book form.

But I feel he should have put a bit more efforts to make book texts his own, he could have justified his stands more clearly or added few examples etc

There are few spelling mistakes also in text but when one read in flow, won’t face issue. For example ‘MOTVATION’ is heading of a chapter.

मैं बाल साहित्य को छोटी छोटी कहानियों के रूप में पढना ज्यादा पसंद करता हूँ, बाल ‘उपन्यासों’ ने मुझे बचपन से अभी तक कभी प्रभावित नहीं किया, पता नहीं क्यों बोरिंग लगा करती थी, हालाँकि इस किताब को पढने के बाद मेरा विचार बदल गया है.. अभी जब इस किताब को ख़रीदा तो कारण केवल यह था कि यह लेखक की पहली किताब थी और मैं बस प्रोत्साहित करना चाहता था. मुझे किताब ख़रीदने के बाद ही पता चला था कि लेख़क पहले से ही लेखन कार्य में हैं और काफी अनुभव रखते हैं.

बाल साहित्य को एक बच्चा बनकर पढने में ही ज्यादा मज़ा आता है. जब इस बुक को ख़रीदा था तो यही सोच कर खरीदा था कि कुछ हल्का फुल्का मनोरंजन हो जायेगा. किताब पढ़ते समय मैं अपने आपको करीब 20 साल पीछे ले गया और पढना शुरू किया. शुरुआत (लगभग 10-15%) में थोड़ी समस्या आई, पात्रों से और नॉवेल की गति से सामंजस्य बैठाने में, नॉवेल को एक बार छोड़ना भी पड़ा, पर जब एक बार सेटिंग बैठ गई तो बाकि 85% उपन्यास एक सिटिंग में ही पूरा किया.

उपन्यास के पात्र अपने आस पास के ही लगते हैं, एक हायर मिडिल क्लास परिवार जैसे पर हाँ, हर घर में शायद इतने गैजेट्स न मिल पायें, पर ये सब कहानी के लिए जरुरी था. खुद मेरे अपने बचपन में मुझे गैजेट्स इकठ्ठा करने का शौक था. बच्चे कैसे सोचते हैं, कैसा व्यव्हार करते हैं उनके पापा मम्मी से सम्बन्ध कैसे होते हैं, काफी वास्तविक सा बन पढ़ा है इस उपन्यास में..

एक पाठक साहब का उपन्यास है जिसमे पूरी कहानी की शुरुआत एक गाय के रंभाने से शुरू होती है और उसके पीछे का कारण जानकार बहुत आश्चर्य होता है, कुछ उसी तरह इस उपन्यास में उपन्यास का प्रमुख पात्र कौवों का एक झुण्ड देखता है और हैरान होता है कि वो कांव! कांव!! क्यों नहीं कर रहे और बस कहानी आगे बढती है और पाठकों को बाँध के रखती है.

उपन्यास में लेखक का पूर्व अनुभव खूब दिखाई देता है और उपन्यास पर पूरी तरह उनकी पकड़ रही है. उपन्यास बहुत शानदार बन पढ़ा है और मैं इसे अपने रिश्तेदारों में पढने के लिए देना चाहता हूँ.. मुझे लगता है इन गर्मी की छुट्टियों में यह उनका भरपूर मनोरंजन करेगा.

उपन्यास एक बाल उपन्यास तो है पर लगभग 8वीं क्लास से ऊपर के बच्चों के लिए ज्यादा मज़ेदार होना चाहिए (ऐसा मुझे लगता है).

सुधार के खाते में:

उपन्यास के शुरुआत में उन्नत के परिवार को थोड़े से ज्यादा (5-6) पेज दिए जाने चाहिए थे, मेन प्लाट शुरू करने से पहले, इससे बच्चे कहानी से ज्यादा जुडाव महसूस करेंगे.

An excellent thriller which goes like a fast-paced movie leave reader to get glued to the book and leave the chair when done with the book.

Surendra Mohan Pathak is the biggest name in Indian crime fiction. His main USP is real-like characters, a smooth narration of incident and a full dose of suspense and thrill. In this novel, he is at his best.

A man is trying to live a straight life after getting involved in few crimes but not able to. He is trying to earn his bread and butter by being an ordinary taxi driver. One day a passenger hand him a briefcase for safe custody and his life again get back to the old routine to save his life.

ट्रेजेडी गर्ल

लेखक: ऍम इकराम फरीदी

लेखक का यह दूसरा उपन्यास है. उपन्यास मुझे पसंद आया. लेखक ने मानवीय भावनाओं से भरपूर एक थ्रिलर लिखा है और एक सफल उपन्यास में जो मसाले होने चाहिए वो सभी डाले हैं. लेखक अभी इस फील्ड में कदरन नए हैं, उस हिसाब से काफ़ी अच्छा उपन्यास लिखा है और भविष्य में काफी अच्छा लिखने कि उम्मीद भी जगाई है. जिन लोगों ने अभी थ्रिलर उपन्यास पढने शुरू ही किये हैं उनको इसमें काफी मज़ा आएगा. नॉवेल में कई किरदार काफ़ी मज़ाकिया लहज़े में डायलाग बोल रहे हैं जो कि यक़ीनन बोरियत से बचाता है. नॉवेल तेज रफ़्तार है और अब्बास मस्तान की फिल्मों की तरह इसमें कई मोड़ आते हैं और किरदार अपने रंग भी बदलते हैं.

मैं उनको कुछ सुझाव भी देना चाहूँगा. हालाँकि कोई भी सुझावों से गुस्सा हो सकता है, असहमत भी हो सकता है. पर मुझे लगता है कि हर किसी को स्वयं को सर्वश्रेष्ठ मानकर न बैठकर, निरंतर सुधर कि कोशिश करनी चाहिए.

एक सुझाव नॉवेल कि भाषा के लिए है जो कि वैसे तो काफी सही है पर बीच बीच में अचानक से कुछ इतने भारी भरकम शब्द आ जाते हैं कि जिनका मतलब हर किसी को पता ही नहीं होगा जैसे एक शब्द है हस्बेमामूल. ऐसे कई शब्द हैं जो नॉवेल में कुछ जगह प्रयोग हुए हैं. मेरा सुझाव है कि या तो ऐसे शब्द प्रयोग ही न करें और अगर करें तो उनका मतलब भी बताएं.

दूसरा नॉवेल के चरित्र चित्रण को लेकर है. फरीदी जी इस मामले में थोडा कमजोर पड़े हैं, पर शायद ये अनुभव की कमी के कारण है.

(Spoiler Alert: कृपया आगे न पढ़े, अगर आपने अभी नॉवेल नहीं पढ़ा तो, वर्ना आपका मज़ा ख़राब हो सकता है)

एक तो नॉवेल की प्रमुख नायिका के बारे में है. ज्यादातर नॉवेल में नायिका को शुरू से आखिर तक हालात कि सतायी हुई दिखाया गया है, पर नॉवेल के एक प्रसंग ने, जिसमे वो एक कॉल सेंटर में फ़ोन करती है, जिस तरीके से अपने हमदर्द को लालची वगैरह बताया, उससे उसका चरित्र उतना मजबूत नहीं रहता, जितना रहना चाहिए था. हाँ अगर नायिका को मतलबी दिखाना था तो शुरू से इस प्रकार से ही लेकर चलना था. इस प्रसंग में अगर ये बातें नायिका कि जगह कॉल सेंटर वालो ने वोली होती तो ज्यादा प्रभाव पड़ता.

दूसरा नॉवेल का प्रमुख विलेन इतना उभरकर सामने आ ही नहीं पता अपनी मज़ाकिया भाषा के कारण, क्योंकि जहाँ उसको भड़कना चाहिए वहां वो हलकी फुलकी भाषा में अपने आप से बोलता दिखाया जाता है.

एक सुझाव नॉवेल कि मार्केटिंग के लिए है, अभी उपन्यास हमारे पास पहुंचा ही है, हमें पता है पहला एडिशन है पर नॉवेल के अंतिम पेज पर इस नॉवेल को पहले ही काफी सफल बता दिया गया है! जनाब अब इतना नहीं चलता.

दूसरा नॉवेल कि प्रिंट क्वालिटी के बारे में है जो कि शानदार नहीं कही जा सकती है. यहाँ पर एक हादसा शायद हमारी प्रति में ही हुआ कि कई पेज का एक पूरा सेट ही आगे पीछे हो गया जिससे पढने में दिक्कत हुई.

हालाँकि उपरोक्त अंतिम दोनों सुझाब प्रकाशक के लिए ज्यादा हैं लेखक के लिए कम.

अभी लेखक मार्केट में उभर ही रहे हैं और मैं आशा करता हूँ कि नॉवेल दर नॉवेल आपने में सुधार लायेंगे. मुझे विश्वास है कि उपन्यास विधा को एक नए आयाम तक पहुंचाएंगे.

A Poem

Jaane kyon zindagi ki raftar tham si gayi hai. Sarpat daudti car ko break lag si gayi hai. Bas thodi door rah gayi thi manzil, par kyon yeh baarish padne lagi hai.

Yeh dharti yeh ambar, sab mere liye hai. Jahan ki sab khushiyan, mere liye hain. Par kyon yeh baarish padne lagi hai.

Uth. Jaag. Yeh baarish nahi hai. Yeh hai teri pariksha, par teri manzil wahin hai. Na doori badi hai, na shakti ghati hai, toh yeh chinta kyon aane lagi hai.

Badna hai aage. Is manzil ko chhona hai. Yeh manzil sirf ab mere liye hai. Ji karta hai is manzil ko chho loon, bikheru khushiyan aur sabke aansoo le loon.

No Non-Veg

Well, I started taking Non-Veg in Nov 2004 due to force of my friends. At that time, it was beginning so we explore a lot and taste all type of foods. but personally i was not feeling good at it. and not able to stop it also. Thus this thing was going on........

after a gap of nearly 3 years, i decided to stop it completely. There were many reasons for doing it. but the main thing is that I finally decided that I will leave it completely.

Now its more than 6 months, I have not taken any non-veg item even eggs too and I can see a lot of changes mentally and physically. I feel more fresh. My immune system is improved and.. and.... and......

Basically it was hard to do as my most of friends were non-vegetarians and it was hard to control my desire to have it in their company. thanks to God that I got some new friends who are pure vegetarian and then it become smooth.

I feel good that at least I was able to keep my promise by doing it................

Now I have to work on my fitness and control my tummy!
